The Lucas County Coroner has ruled in the following deaths:
Caprise Arnett, Sr., 34, of Toledo, March 3, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Homicide, gunshot wound of the torso.
Avery Baldwin, 23, of Fremont, Nov. 10, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Accidental, probable fentanyl toxicity and complications.
Oscar Banks, 58, of Toledo, July 16, 2023, at Toledo Correctional Center in 2000 block of East Central. Undetermined.
Jacob Barrett, 16, of Toledo, Feb. 11, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center. Homicide, gunshot wound to the chest.
Brandy Bates, 53, of Stryker, Ohio, Dec. 18, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on South Detroit. Accidental, congestive heart failure due to biventricular injury and paraplegia.
Christopher Blade, Sr., of Oregon, Nov. 27, at home. Accidental, fentanyl toxicity.
Tylean Brown, 47, of Toledo, Aug. 22, in 200 block of Graham. Accidental, cocaethylene, cocaine, and fentanyl toxicity.
Roy Buford, 71, of Toledo, Feb. 20, 2024, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Accidental, blunt head trauma with skull fractures, subdural hematoma and brain contusions; deceased fell down stairs.
