Toledo man arrested for calling kids racist slur while pointing gun, police say

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo Police arrested a man for allegedly pointing a gun at kids and calling them a racist slur, then threatening officers. Arthur Whitcomb III, 64, of Toledo, was arrested Monday on four counts of Aggravated Menacing: one is a first-degree misdemeanor and three of them are fifth-degree felonies. Charging documents said the severity of the crime was enhanced due to the incident fitting the terms of ethnic intimidation.
