Monroe County resident shoots home invader with crossbow

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. – A Monroe County resident shot a suspected home invader with a crossbow early Tuesday morning in Frenchtown Township. Just after midnight on Oct. 8, two men allegedly broke into a home near the 4500 block of Huron Street. Later, one of the suspects was shot by one of the residents in the home with a crossbow. Both suspects then ran out of the house.
