TOLEDO, Ohio – The brand new mascot statues and surrounding sidewalks at the University of Toledo’s Centennial Mall were vandalized by an individual early Tuesday, Oct. 8. The University of Toledo Police Department said the unknown suspect vandalized the area, including the new Rocky and Rocksy statues, between 12:54 a.m. and 1:01 a.m. with red paint, including messages of “ethnic intimidation.”
