■ Mobile Meals of Toledo is hosting its annual Sip, Sip HOORAY! fund-raising event on Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. in Maumee at Parkway Place, 2592 Parkway Plaza.
Guests can expect food offerings from local restaurants, area wine and beer tastings, along with signature drinks created by Toledo Spirits Co. and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Live music is provided by Distant Cousinz Duo and there will be performances by Glovation Circus. Fun activities and prizes can also be expected.
Tickets can be purchased at mobilemeals.org/sip24/ for $100 in advance or at the door (if available) for $110 per person. Business casual dress is recommended.
■ A Sourdough 101 class is set for Nov. 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Just Toledo, 909 Jefferson Ave. This class will teach patrons how to feed a sourdough starter, along with “everything you need to know to bake your first loaf,” according to its Facebook page.
Guests will take home a sourdough starter, freshly ground flour, recipes, and a loaf of bread.
