Streets in Toledo’s central business district will close at 7 a.m. Saturday for The Blade Holiday Parade, the Toledo Department of Transportation announced.
All streets between and including Jackson and Washington streets will be closed east of Erie Street.
Huron, Superior, St. Clair, and Summit streets will be closed between Jackson and Lafayette streets. Ottawa Street also will be closed between Washington and Broadway streets, as will Owens Corning Parkway between Monroe and Washington streets.
The closings are in addition to the ongoing closing of Summit between Jackson and Cherry streets for reconstruction, which includes lane closings and turn restrictions on Cherry.
The parade is scheduled to step off at 10 a.m. on Summit at Jefferson Avenue and proceed north on Summit to Jackson, then west to Huron and south to Washington.
It is expected to conclude around noon.
