HOLLAND, OH – A popular restaurant chain known for its fried chicken has opened a new location in the suburb.
Are you a fan of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers? If you answered yes to that question, then you might want to know that the chain has opened a new restaurant in Holland at 6550 Airport Hwy. According to a post from the local chamber of commerce’s social media account, the new location celebrated its grand opening on November 12 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Raising Cane’s is a restaurant chain that was founded by Todd Graves, according to the restaurant chain’s website. He came up with the restaurant concept for a college class, and his professor actually gave him a bad grade for it because according to the professor, the idea of a chicken-finger-only restaurant was doomed to fail. The banks also agreed with this assessment and refused to give Graves loans.
But eventually, Graves secured a loan, and he was able to open a restaurant that would eventually become a popular chain with over 500 locations, proving that college professor exceedingly wrong.
