Lions Clubs of Lenawee celebrating 14th year of ‘An Evening with Santa’ Saturday, Dec. 14

ADRIAN — Hayrides, holiday crafts, gifts, games, refreshments and of course, Santa Claus himself, are among the highlights for Saturday’s “An Evening with Santa” hosted by the Lions Clubs of Lenawee and taking place in Adrian at the Stubnitz Environmental Center in Heritage Park , 3221 N. Adrian Highway (M-52).

“An Evening with Santa” is also made possible by the Manchester Lions. It is scheduled from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, and has become a yearly tradition and a family-friendly holiday event. It is free of charge and all ages are welcome.

The Lions Clubs of Lenawee County including Adrian Breakfast, Adrian Evening, Blissfield and Clinton clubs are celebrating the 14th year of the holiday program. The Adrian Breakfast Lions began hosting “An Evening with Santa” in 2011 in the tradition of the Lions’ motto: “We serve.”

“Last year’s event drew nearly 400 guests to the beautifully decorated venue,” an announcement from Larry Atkin, treasurer with the Adrian Breakfast Lions Club, said.
