TOLEDO, Ohio – The Jewish holiday of Hanukkah starts on Wednesday, the same as Christmas Day, for the first time since 2005. Hanukkah, according to rabbi Yossi Shemtov with the Chabad House, is the story of resilience from the Maccabe people, who in 165 BC rebelled against invading Greek and Syrian troops, eventually reclaiming their temple finding a jar of pure oil, which was meant only to burn for a day but instead lasted eight.
