SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Sylvania Fire Department is saying goodbye to a longtime member on Sunday and Monday. Lieutenant Jeffrey S. Young passed away on Christmas Day. Young was a member of the department from 1988, and was promoted to lieutenant in 1999, a position he retained until his retirement in 2018.
