Do you have what it takes to be Metroparks Toledo’s ultimate survivor?
Find out when the Metroparks’ Survivor Games takes place Sunday at Side Cut Metropark’s Rotary Pavillion from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Teams will compete in wilderness survival challenges to earn fire-building supplies. A final team council will culminate in a fire-making showdown. The first team to make a fire, burn through the string, and raise its flag will prove it’s the survivor.
Registration is required. Teams must have a minimum of two adults, with no more than five people per team. Registration fee is $20.
Programs are run rain or shine and participants are asked to dress for the weather. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
