TPD searching for man allegedly involved in two Family Dollar robberies

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Toledo Police Department has announced it is looking for a man who was allegedly involved in two Family Dollar robberies on Wednesday.

On Jan. 8 around 6:01 p.m., police were dispatched to the Family Dollar located on the 2800 block of Central Ave. for reports of a robbery. When officers arrived, they were told an older Black man went up to the register and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk told police that the man acted like he had a gun, but no gun was visible.

The man then left the location on foot, headed east on Central Avenue. He didn’t get anything from the store…
