OREGON, Ohio — The Toledo Lucas County Public Library announced Friday that its Oregon Branch will be reopening to the public later this month.
The library said it’s set to reopen on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. The branch closed in August of last year after the library said a “plumbing failure caused extensive water damage.”
According to TLCPL, it worked with its insurance company and restoration company on the following:
- A complete drying out of the building
- Removing and replacing any damaged drywall
- Removing and replacing all the carpeting
- Removing and replacing in-floor electrical elements that were impaired
The library said it also worked with the city and architecture firm on securing permits needed to reopen the branch safely…
