The Ottawa County Health Department’s Sanitation Division reported the following critical violations during food inspections between Dec. 1 and Jan. 1.
Kaiser’s Limestone Tavern , LLC, 2440 N. Rocky Ridge Road, Oak Harbor. Violations: Beer cheese being thawed in the hand sink, which may only be used for handwashing; crud buildup on the ice machine; food had no datemark for disposal; chili and beer cheese being kept past the seven-day discard date.
Catawba Island Club , 4235 E. Beach Club Road, Port Clinton. Violations: Handwashing sink being used for other than handwashing; date mark exceeded on stock; sauces and dressings in cooler exceeded datemark for discard (corrected)…
