MONROE — Monroe is one of the five stops on this year’s Hot Rod Power Tour . The vehicle show is expected to bring about 10,000 spectators to Monroe. Registration has begun for vehicles. Spectators can attend for free, but must register for free tickets.
“The Hot Rod Power Tour will be making a stop at the Monroe County Fairgrounds on June 12,” said Darryl Diamond, manager of the Monroe County Fair Association. “The Hot Rod Power Team contacted our office. It was definitely a no-brainer to make this happen! This will be a great event for the fairgrounds and for the community. We have people registered from the county and several hundred from Michigan.”
The 31 st annual tour runs June 9-13 and calls itself “America’s largest traveling car show.” The other 2025 stops are in Indianapolis, Ind.; Joliet, Ill.; Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Norwalk, Ohio…
