CINCINNATI (WXIX) – As the Tri-State continues monitoring the rising waters of the Ohio River, preparations for the incoming winter weather are also underway.
Matt Marshall with the Hamilton County Engineer’s Office told FOX19 NOW that crews are trying to be proactive about their salt supplies because he has heard some areas are having trouble placing salt orders.
“Last year was relatively mild, but it seems since the first of the year we’ve been nonstop,” Marshall said. “Last weekend with the flooding and this weekend with snow and ice operations, it’s been busy, to say the least.”…
