TOLEDO, Ohio — A man was found guilty by a jury Wednesday for shooting and killing a 34-year-old man in central Toledo last year.
Deandre Koonce, 30, was found guilty in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault in the shooting death of Caprise Arnett. He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 13.
Arnett was found shot in the 1400 block of Belmont Avenue just after 6 a.m. on March 3, 2024. He was taken to the hospital and died from a gunshot wound to the torso, according to a report from the Lucas County coroner…
