Indianapolis, IN – A wind advisory has been issued for much of central Indiana and western Ohio from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST on Friday, with strong gusts expected to impact travel and utilities.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Indianapolis and Wilmington, southwest winds will range from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts reaching up to 55 mph in Indiana and 50 mph in Ohio. Affected areas include Indianapolis, Lafayette, Muncie, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati.
