There is a new hot spot on North Huron Street, where a ceramicist and a glassblower have partnered to elevate Toledo’s flames of creativity.
While Ryan Thompson is building upon more than a century of “glassical” tradition, Kayla Kirk engenders her specialty to bring spark to everyday objects.
“It is an honor to be making glass in the Glass City,” said Thompson, who graduated from Perkins High School near Sandusky.
