TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The newly-formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), headed by tech mogul Elon Musk, is looking to shut down office space in Toledo.
The “Wall of Receipts” on a DOGE dashboard shows the office space for the Office of U.S. Attorneys in Toledo, located at the Four Seagate Building, is on the chopping block. It’s elimination would save $755,214, according to DOGE. 13 Action News reached out to a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, who said they were aware of the situation but unable to comment further.
Another line on the dashboard says the Toledo location for U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services for the Northern District of Ohio, located on the second floor of a building on N. 13th Street, is also slated to be cut, but the savings listed there shows $0 in savings…
