Lucas County man arrested in ‘slow-speed pursuit’ in Michigan

IDA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WTVG) – Deputies in Monroe County arrested a man on multiple charges after what the sheriff’s office described as a “slow-speed pursuit” early Saturday.

Deputies say they tried to pull over a 49-year-old man from Holland, Ohio around 3 a.m. in the area of Lewis Avenue and Morocco Road in Ida Township. The vehicle was speeding and crossing the center line of the roadway, according to the sheriff’s office.
