A replacement levy for refuse and recycling collection is being readied for residents of Perrysburg to vote on in November.
City council on Tuesday will hear the third reading on resolution of necessity for replacing a 1-mill, two-year levy for the collection and disposal of garbage or refuse. The levy is expected to be on the Nov. 4 ballot, according to Joe Fawcett, city administrator.
The refuse levy is collecting $852,892 and would collect $1.04 million if the replacement levy is passed, according to Wood County Auditor Matt Oestreich…
