TOLEDO, Ohio — Anthony Cook, who admitted to killing at least nine people in the Toledo area in the 1970s and early 1980s, was once again denied parole and will not be eligible again until 2034.
The recommendation from a parole board panel was released to family members on Monday morning. The decision was likely sealed by Cook’s refusal to attend a hearing on Thursday. He previously refused to attend his initial parole hearing in December. This time, however, board members held discussions without him being present.
