WILLIAMSTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Interstate traffic heading into Ohio from West Virginia is closed after an excavator hit part of a bridge Wednesday morning.
According to an emergency official in Wood County, I-77 North connecting Williamstown and Marietta, Ohio is closed after an excavator on the back of a truck struck the bridge crossing the Ohio River on the Ohio side.
