Blaze burns 5-10 acres in Sandusky County, fire chief says

SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio — About five to 10 acres in Sandusky County burned Wednesday night in a blaze started by a campfire, according to the Clyde Fire Department’s assistant fire chief.

There were no injuries in the fire and first responders contained it the same night. Fire crews responded to North County Road 198 around 9 p.m., and multiple other departments went to the scene for water supply, according to the Clyde chief.
