TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Taxes have been a hot issue in Lucas County over the last few months. Many property owners are upset about their home values and the increased taxes they owe on them.
While many of those people plan to pay, there are people who are not and the amount owed is staggering.
The 13 Action News I-TEAM learned the delinquent property taxes in Lucas County are more than $152 million. The number is a little deceiving in some ways. Getting it down, though, is going to take some creative ideas…
