Police Fear 13-Year-Old Likely Abducted From North Toledo Home

TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo Police Department is actively searching for 13-year-old Keimani Latigue, who disappeared under alarming and suspicious circumstances on March 17, 2025. Authorities have classified her as an endangered missing child, and her family and community are desperate for answers.

According to the Toledo Police Department, Keimani lived with her grandmother, Dorothy Latigue, in the 2900 block of Elm Street in North Toledo. On the morning she went missing, Dorothy returned home from an overnight work shift to find the front door unlocked, the gas stove on, and the house in disarray. Even more troubling, Keimani’s glasses and keys were still inside the house, but the teenager was nowhere to be found.

“It was Monday morning when I came home, and she wasn’t here. She was supposed to be on her way to school, but the house was a mess. I called the school to talk to her, and they said she hadn’t shown up,” Dorothy Latigue told WTVG. “Other than her and me, it’s just our two dogs in the house. So, who turned on the stove? That was really suspicious. Her glasses and pajamas were by the couch in the front, and her pajamas were on the dining room floor.”
