Nearly a dozen dead puppies were discovered in a bookbag left on the side of the road in Youngstown, Ohio, a local humane society said.
The Animal Charity of Ohio’s humane agents were sent by Youngstown police to the northside of the city concerning the abandoned bookbag, the nonprofit organization said around 3:30 p.m. in a Facebook post on Monday .
