Teacher charged with trespassing after showing up to student’s house unannounced for homework assignment

PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WTVG) – A Perrysburg teacher is facing a criminal trespassing charge after allegedly showing up to a student’s house unannounced to discuss a student’s homework assignment.

William Hilt, who was placed on leave from Hull Prairie Intermediate School in March, appeared in court on April 1 where he pleaded not guilty to the charge.

According to a Perrysburg police report, Hilt allegedly followed a student’s school bus to her house to verify that she completed her homework assignment.
