UPDATE: Officer shoots, kills wrong-way driver who displayed gun on Ohio interstate

An interstate is back open after police shot and killed an armed wrong-way driver in Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) responded around 11 p.m. Tuesday to Interstate 275 in Clermont County on reports of a wrong way driver, according to our news partner WCPO-9 TV in Cincinnati .

The OSHP told WCPO-9 TV that a trooper located a Ford Escape driving northbound on the shoulder of the southbound lanes of the interstate.

The trooper then intentionally collided his cruiser with the vehicle, bringing it to a stop against the concrete barrier…
