TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Board of Lucas County Commissioners has announced it is looking for residents to serve on various boards, commissions and advisory committees to help shape the future of Lucas County.
LCC says those who are chosen will have the opportunity to ensure Lucas County remains a thriving, well-managed community by contributing their expertise, insight and passion to local government.
“Public participation is essential to good governance,” the Lucas County Commissioners said in a joint statement. “By lending their talents to serve on a board, residents will have the chance to weigh in on key decisions, advocate for important issues, and help guide policies that impact the lives of their fellow residents.”…
