The Toledo Zoo’s four North American river otter pups made their public debut March 28.
Guests can now visit the playful otter family—mom Tilly, dad Winston and their pups Sutton, Tallulah, Kaya and Talon—exploring their outdoor habitat in Tembo Trail from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. As always, animal viewing is subject to change as the otters may retreat to their indoor spaces.
Born on Dec. 7, 2024, the four pups—two males and two females—are already delighting their caregivers and visitors alike. Each pup has developed a unique personality. Zoo staff members note that Kaya is the most adventurous, while Talon tends to be the shyest.
