State, city officials outline how to prepare for flooding. Heaviest rainfall expected Saturday evening into overnight
Update, 5:45 p.m.: Government officials from Cincinnati and Ohio outlined how citizens should prepare for flooding this weekend.
On Friday, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s office said in a release that a storm system is expected to bring heavy rain across Ohio this weekend and cause moderate flooding for the first time in Ohio since 2021.
“Because this weather system has been lingering over Ohio, the ground is already saturated. More water will cause more flooding,” said Governor DeWine. “I encourage everyone to pay close attention to this storm system and be prepared.”…
