Turnpike plans resurfacing projects in Toledo area

A resurfacing project that started over the weekend accounts for several work zones on the Ohio Turnpike in northwest Ohio this spring and early summer.

All lanes will be open during the daytime in the six-mile paving zone between the Archbold/Fayette and Wauseon interchanges, the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission said, but at night traffic may be reduced to a single lane in either direction. Work started there Friday night and is scheduled to run through Oct. 31.

A similar zone between Mileposts 43 and 46.5, near Swanton, is scheduled to start up April 28 and also run through October…
