Man indicted for allegedly causing rollover crash that killed a man, injured three

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Lucas County grand jury indicted a man on Tuesday for allegedly causing a rollover crash that killed a man and injured three, including himself, in October.

The grand jury indicted Steven Wallace on April 8. He is facing the following charges:

  • Two counts of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide
  • One count of Involuntary Manslaughter
  • Two counts of Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol

The crash occurred on Oct. 4. around 10 p.m. at South Avenue and the I-75 overpass in Toledo. Records show Wallace and his passenger, 35-year-old Juan Espinoza, were hospitalized with serious injuries. A 47-year-old and a 2-year-old were also taken to the hospital.
