Toledo police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for the aggravated robbery of a Papa Johns restaurant at 3231 Dorr St.
The man they’ve identified as the suspect is Douglas C. Smith, 55. He is described as a Black man who’s five feet, six inches tall, 159 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
According to police, the suspect entered Papa Johns at 10:55 p.m. on March 18 while wearing a Burger King uniform, hat, and a mask. He told a female employee he had a gun, did not want to hurt her, but wanted her to quietly empty the cash drawer.
