LAKE MILTON, Ohio (WKBN) — Officers with the Craig Beach Police Department submitted letters of resignation at a village council meeting Tuesday night.
All police officers in the department, including the chief, have resigned. Officers cited a hostile work environment, claiming retaliation and poor communication from council members.
The officers who resigned included Chief of Police Kyle Pettus, Commander Crystal Casterline, Sgt. Renatta Griffith, Sgt. Michael Hudson, Lt. Richard Johnson and Patrolman Ernest Hudson. The seventh officer is on active military service and couldn’t submit a resignation letter…
