TOLEDO, Ohio — Two longtime businesses in west Toledo will soon have to relocate to make way for a new public library development.
The Toledo Lucas County Public Library plans to demolish the old Food Town building on West Alexis Road to make way for the new Washington Local Library. The library also plans to redevelop the surrounding plaza to build a new Friends of the Library book warehouse. As a result, Glass City CrossFit and Star Diner, both located in the affected parking lot, will need to move.
