Families with kids in school can apply for $120 in summer grocery money

Parents and caregivers can apply for summer food benefits of $120 for each child aged 6 to 18 in their home.

The program, known as Summer EBT or SUN Bucks, started last year and provides eligible families with extra money to buy groceries when schools are closed in the summer. Benefits can also be used at some summer farmers markets.

Applications have to be completed by Aug. 15. You can apply on this website: https://sebt.ohio.gov/apply/…
