TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A woman has been arrested after she allegedly neglected her dogs, leaving them in terrible conditions after she was evicted.
According to court records, Michelle Roberts, 33, allegedly told police she was being evicted and decided to leave her dogs behind.
When police arrived at her apartment in the 400 block of 3rd St., they found two pit bulls in cages, which had garbage piled on top of them, hiding them from sight. The dogs has no food and water and had been left there for what appeared to be several days. Officers could see the dogs’ rib bones…
