WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has announced an increase in patrols through April 30, with a focus on distracted driving and other traffic violations.
Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn said deputies will be monitoring for offenses such as distracted driving, operating a vehicle under the influence, failure to yield, speeding and seat belt violations. Zero tolerance will be applied to impaired driving and seat belt infractions.
