Ohio officials have decided that a teen who admitted to beating his teacher will be allowed to continue attending public school.
In February, the Northwest Local School District board sought to keep one of its students from ever attending public school. Under a rarely used Ohio law called “permanent exclusion,” a school board can ask the state to bar the student from all public schools in the state.
