Man accused of killing Kei’Mani Latigue appears in court for second time, charges refiled

TOLEDO, Ohio — Darnell Jones, the man accused of killing his 13-year-old daughter, Kei’Mani Latigue, appeared in Toledo Municipal Court Monday morning where his charges were refiled.

A judge set his bond at $4 million, the same as had been set on Friday, when he made his first appearance in Toledo Municipal Court Friday on charges of murder, abduction and felonious assault: $2 million for murder, $1 million for felonious assault and $1 million for abduction.

Jones, who also goes by Darnell Jones-Ogletree, was ordered to not have any contact with minor children, was ordered to surrender his passport and would be placed on “lockdown” if he were to post bond. He would also be monitored electronically…
