BLISSFIELD — Suffice to say, Bill Borchardt followed his heart when it came to his lifelong work.
The longtime local grocer and businessman originally was on the career path to become a mechanical engineer, enrolling in courses and taking classes at Jackson Community College . The grocery business, meanwhile, had been part of his life since he was 12 years old.
