TOLEDO, Ohio — Multiple warrants filed in Toledo Municipal Court offer more clues about the investigation into the murder of Kei’Mani Latigue. And they indicate that shortly after the 13-year-old girl’s disappearance, detectives began focusing on the girl’s father, Darnell Jones Ogletree and his cousin, Kalop Jones-Dixon.
Kei’Mani’s grandmother, Dorothy Latigue, arrived home from work on the morning of March 18 and noticed the girl was not there, a rug was displaced, the stove’s burners were turned on and Kei’Mani’s pajamas and underwear were found in the dining room, which Dorothy later told police made no sense because she never changed in that area.
Dorothy then called Darnell Jones to tell him that his daughter was missing. She told him about the clothes being found in the dining room. She later told police that the blood-stained underwear was gone when she later returned to look for them and she believed Jones may have taken them…
