TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo has officially adopted a strategic plan to reduce gun violence in the city over the next five years.
The “Peace in Motion” plan will see the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement work with the community to “address the root causes of gun violence in Toledo neighborhoods and networks through a public health approach,” according to the legislation text approved by Toledo City Council at Tuesday’s meeting.
