TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club is working with Toledo Public Schools and the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office to teach gun safety to youths in response to a viral standoff in February between authorities in New Mexico and two children armed with a gun.
The soldiers will teach the National Rifle Association’s Eddie Eagle GunSafe program to students at Sherman Elementary School in north Toledo on Wednesday, according to club spokesperson Fred LeFebvre.
