County Greenlights Contracts, Vehicles, and Renovation Tweaks

ADRIAN — From squad cars to window blinds, Lenawee County cleared a long list of routine business on May 13 — approving more than a dozen contracts and purchases during the latest Ways & Means Committee meeting.

The county signed off on a series of agreements and funding requests covering law enforcement, maintenance, tech infrastructure, and vehicle purchases. Most requests came with prior committee support or reflected standard annual renewals.

Law Enforcement Contracts were renewed or expanded with Madison Schools, Addison Schools and Village, Deerfield Village, Macon Township, and Hidden Lake Gardens. Most involved shared coverage models where the Sheriff’s Office provides part-time or school-based patrols…
