It didn’t take long for the group of retired Toledo Fire & Rescue Department paramedics to start swapping stories.
“Remember the guy on the bulldozer?” Jim Markland asked his fellow retirees as he launched into a story about a man trying to repair a bulldozer and accidentally started it up while standing on the treads.
“It ran right over him,” he said, “but the ground was very sandy. It pushed the man right down into the sand. His only injury was a broken pinky finger.”…
