Calling a fatal shooting last year in West Toledo “an absolute, intentional, cold-blooded assassination,” a Lucas County judge sentenced convicted killer Sean Duhart to 59 years to life in state prison Thursday morning.
Common Pleas Judge Stacy Cook gave Duhart, 23, of the 3600 block of Willys Parkway, life with parole possible after 30 years for the leading count of aggravated murder for which a jury convicted him May 1.
But on top of that, Judge Cook also sentenced him to eight years for firing on or near prohibited premises, plus a litany of gun specifications attached to charges in the case that added up to an additional 21 years…
